Jack's Farmhouse Bed

Well, it is finally done!  It took approximately 3 weeks to complete start-to-finish (some evenings and weekends) using Ana's super plans (thanks Ana!!).  I pretty much stuck to the plan, except that I used some reclaimed 2x6 from the local Renovator's Resource for the top caps of the headboard and footboard and stained them different than the rest of the bed.  What did I learn from this experience?  Well, when you live in a 2 storey salt box, you really should build the bed in 3 different pieces and assemble it in it's final resting placeEmbarassed.  Oops!, oh well, it made it there without harm.  I would highly recommend this plan to anyone and if you are doubting that you can handle the project, let me assure that you ABSOLUTELY can do it!  Next project........Farmhouse Table!  I would love to add a pic, but it appears that I can't because it is greater than 51200 bytes; anybody know where else I can add a photo?  Thanks!!

You can post the picture on Ana's Facebook page -or- use one of the picture utilities on your computer to resize your picture (either compress for webviewing or resize keeping the height and width ratio). If you are using a PC, the Microsoft Windows Picture Manager can handle the compression.
