Ana White is the pioneering leader behind the DIY furniture movement.
In 2009, unable to find modern, simple woodworking plans, Ana began sharing her designs online for free. Since then, Ana has created thousands of free plans and inspired millions of men and women to take up woodworking.
A best selling author, HGTV host, Ana has been featured by People Magazine, Country Living, Family Handyman and many, many more. She has partnered with brands from Home Depot, Lowes, Target, Ryobi, Skill Power Tools, Kreg Jig, Minwax, Varathane, and many more.
Ana lives in rural Alaska with her husband Jacob, and their three children - Grace, Hayes and Everly.

Why Use Softwoods? Why not Hardwoods?
Because softwoods are fast renewing and regionally grown, they are a better choice environmentally. Exotic hardwoods take a long time to grown, and need to be shipped around the world.
