Hey! I want an indoor slide for my toddlers to use during the long summer months here in Arizona when playgrounds are dangerously hot. This IKEA one is great (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10089916/), but I was hoping to make it a bit cheaper than that.
I think it would probably be a pretty simple concept for you, but I'm having trouble wrapping my brain around the best construction techniques/angles, etc. I like that it has a standing platform, unlike this one (http://www.apartmenttherapy.com/diy-slide-lowes-creative-ideas-174034), which I can see a kid falling off while transitioning from steps to slide.
I would be forever grateful!
