My wife and I built these chairs this past weekend for around the fire pit at our permanent campsite. We used ground-contact, pressure treated 2x4s that were still pretty wet and MAN, are these heavy! Hopefully they'll get a little lighter as the wood dries out. But they're also super durable and quite comfortable for those of us with more generous seating needs. Got the cushions from Amazon. - Paul B (South Central WI)
