I'm a stay-at-home mother of a wonderful 2.5 year old little girl. (We'd like to expand our family in the somewhat near future.) My background is graphic design, working full time at agencies for 12 years, and now I just do freelance from home when I get the itch :) I really enjoy exploring my creative side and have a real appreciation for beautiful furniture and such, just not so much the price tag that generally comes along with it when store bought, so I love the idea of building my own pieces! The one and only "wood" project that I have completed so far has been an oversized ruler growth chart, which required very little construction at all. However, I really enjoyed the feeling of creating something with my own two hands; that turned out waaaaay better than the one I saw in the store :) I'm a quick learner and super excited to start making beautiful pieces for our family to enjoy!
