Tie Rack Tutorial by Craftaholics Anonymous

I am in full on organization mode, knowing once school starts, life is going to be crazy. There will probably be less time to get organized, so I am taking the next couple of weeks before school starts to knock off some simple organization projects that take an hour each and putting them to work for me! Relate much?

This super tie rack caught my eye because of it's simplicity. NO, my husband is not a tie wearing man being in the construction trade, however, this could definetely be used for a plethora of other applications, right?

That peg board takes the guessing out, genius! I think this could work great for scarves, jewelry, bags, you get the jist. Craftaholics Anonymous has a great tutorial, so stop by and get a little more organized today!

General Instructions

Please read through the entire plan and all comments before beginning this project. It is also advisable to review the Getting Started Section. Take all necessary precautions to build safely and smartly. Work on a clean level surface, free of imperfections or debris. Always use straight boards. Check for square after each step. Always predrill holes before attaching with screws. Use glue with finish nails for a stronger hold. Wipe excess glue off bare wood for stained projects, as dried glue will not take stain. Be safe, have fun, and ask for help if you need it. Good luck!
