This is my first post after being a follower of this blog for a while. I have yet to build anything, but have been eyeing the benches for a while. I am looking for something that is just a little bit more formal in style, to go with our pool table. Looking for seating that I can pull up to the table to use for dining, but also be pushed against the walls for additional seating.
I would LOVE a simple bench design that uses round legs like the "Turned Leg Media Console" design.
An added bonus would be a bench with a lift up storage lid and an upholstered top. Something kind of similar to this:

Love the site! Looking forward to building up the nerve to start my first project, whether it be my benches, a couple of bookshelves, or a buffet and wine rack hutch for the kitchen, so much inspiration on here!!
