Am working on drawing up (literally, since I haven't figured out sketch-up yet even WITH your tutorial!) these plans, but would definitely welcome more advanced help!

Hmm, that is a deceptive looking cabinet. It looks like the shelves are only attached to the face framing of the three sides and the back panel.

Then the mirror and cork board occupy two sides, and then a solid back. The hanging knobs on the back probably are secured into a shelf. You could add many more of the hooks.

It looks like the mirror and cork are very thin. Id make the cork deeper.

So, on two sides you have a frame, on the back the board is the same dimension as the face frame to fit flush with the sides. The cork and mirror are probably glued to masonite, or something similar and ??? I dont know how that is attached to the face frame, as I cannot see any lines inside on the sides.

So perhaps a dado on the face frame. Also some shelves are movable, yet you do not see the support for them, so Id guess the support is a long wire that goes into the holes and a dado in the shelf side edge.

So, kiss, just make a ply box, add the mirror and cork, then a nice frame around those (butted to them). Inset the back flush with those frames. Build another box for the bottom and add the swivel.

On the bottom box it looks like the top panel is larger than the box, adding to the eye appeal. Then some molding on the bottom.

There was a youtube that explained how to make a revolving dvd rack. I think it was a circle though. But he explained the way he handled the swivel. You can purchase those though too.
