Finally done with it! I love how it was so quick to build, but my word it makes the finishing time seem like forever ;) It doesn't help I had a heck of a lot of issues!

Thanks!! I'm very pleased with it.
I'm *not super pleased that my 3 year old ran his cars along the bottom and chipped a bit of paint off already, though :( I'll need to do some touchups soon!

I too started with this console table and love the way it turned out! Yours looks great and I like how you left the top as wood, and painted the bottom.
The only thing I'd do differently with mine is use different wood. The cheap pine I purchased just didn't stain as evenly as I would have liked, even after multiple coats. Oh well, good place to start! Up next is the Farmhouse Bed and Rustic Table w/Benches!

I think yours turned out great! What stain did you use? Did you use wood conditioner as well? I haven't had any issues staining the cheap pine if I'm liberal with the conditioner!
