Wood Bin / End Table.

So, this is a little idea inspired by one of the KOW bookshelves, the need for an in-house firewood holder without replacing an end table and the desire to keep wood crumbs and creepy crawlys somewhat contained.

A couple of things learned here:

1. A bin that will have wood dumped in it can never been too sturdily reinforced.  I had to line it with nailers and 2x4's in the bottom and back.

2.  They call it "stain" for a reason.  This was my first time working with something other than paint, and I am *NOT* a patient person.  How long before my hands turn back to their normal color?

Get some 'waterless hand cleaner" from an auto parts store and use it with a plastic scrub pad to clean your hands.

Also, nail polish remover can get the stuff off your fingernails and cuticles. A manicure :)
