I'm new to the Ana White site, but very excited to try out some new projects! Been in the process of building up a workshop (I now have a table saw, miter saw, a model table saw by Jim Byrnes, a drill press, bandsaw and router table, a lathe, a jointer and a planer which is still in its box.
Up till now, I've been a penturner, making fancy pens and selling them. Many of the pens that I've made have sold for between $150-$200. Yep, a lot for a pen, but I promise that the first time you write with them, you'll swear they were designed for you.
In case anyone is interested in penmaking, here's a link to a pen series that I did that involved segmenting five different materials.
I'm trying to figure out how to set it up here, the link is http://www.facebook.com/#!/album.php?aid=254636&id=651622959
and my pen site on Facebook is http://www.facebook.com/#!/home.php?sk=group_152623101447792&ap=1

Uhm
Question...I did add a post about penmaking to the blogs yesterday with pictures, but they appear to have vanished. Did I step on a rule of order on the site here?
I know its outside the mainstream...I will be making furniture in short order. Just thought I'd share what I was doing
