So...we are 6 people in a 3 bedroom house. We needed more room! Thanks for the inspiration Ana. I think these beds turned out GREAT. And the girls love them!!!
The top is anchored to two walls and the corner is anchored with a threaded rod into the ceiling that runs through a 4x4 across the beams in the ceiling. I then just built a column around the rod. The ladder also adds extra support.
