A desk that looks like an ice cream truck (or bus or fire truck!) that you can build with free simple, step by step plans that anyone can follow. Do it yourself and save money on wood furniture.

Preparation
1 - 8 foot long x 20" wide x 3/4" thick project panel or shelf (referred to as a 1x20 in this plan)
2 - 1x10 @ 10 feet long
1 - 1x2 @ 8 feet long
1x6, 1x4 and 1x2 boards for decoration
2" and 4" rounds for decroation
2 - 1x20 @ 26 1/2" (Front/Back)
1 - 1x20 @ 44" (Top)
4 - 1x10 @ 26 1/2" (Sides)
4 - 1x10 @ 18 1/2" (Shelves)
2 - 1x2 @ 44" (Side Trim)
4 - 1x10 @ 9 1/4" (Wheels, cut to rounds)
4 - 1x4 @ 9 1/4" (Wheel supports)
Optional trim and accessories
Please read through the entire plan and all comments before beginning this project. It is also advisable to review the Getting Started Section. Take all necessary precautions to build safely and smartly. Work on a clean level surface, free of imperfections or debris. Always use straight boards. Check for square after each step. Always predrill holes before attaching with screws. Use glue with finish nails for a stronger hold. Wipe excess glue off bare wood for stained projects, as dried glue will not take stain. Be safe, have fun, and ask for help if you need it. Good luck!

It is always recommended to apply a test coat on a hidden area or scrap piece to ensure color evenness and adhesion. Use primer or wood conditioner as needed.
