The videos are awesome, but I can't hear you, Ana! I can hear the music just fine, but your voice is very faint. Is this happening to anyone else?

As far as suggestions go, I'd love to see how you hang drawers. That's always the toughest and most frustrating part of the projects I've worked on.

Thanks for the feedback Justin! Will definitely work on the audio in the next videos. I completely agree on the drawers and will definitely prioritize a video for hanging drawers.

Thank you so much for posting these videos!! I'm just getting started and have been paying for cuts at Home Depot because I don't have anyone to show me the basics of wood cutting. This helps a lot!

Yes the music is annoying and louder than you are speaking. I don't think you need the music.

I would like you to expand on how to use the jigsaw such that the blade does not bend or stray. On more than one occasion I almost took a hammer to the darn thing.

Another subject , though simple, can be helpful and that is how do you properly install PH inserts.

Another subject. The very important "make sure everything is square" direction in every project. It is so important that it deserves its own video. Which corner clamps might you recommend to help keep our frames square?

Thanks a bunch for the advice, plans, and community. I will be buying the book this morning for my Kindle Fire.

Ana, thanks for posting videos. I am a visual learner so this is great for me. I have always sanded your projects when I complete them with regular sandpaper that I use my hand with. I have been talking to my husband about an electric hand sander for awhile but neither of us knew how to use one. I think I would like to try one out now!

I do have a question, though. We made the Modular base and Secretary and used plywood as stated in the directions. We sanded by hand, but the plywood was literally falling off in pieces while we were sanding. So we did as much as we could and then I primed and painted it. I haven't sealed it yet because we are not happy we can still see all the grooves from the plywood. It isn't smooth. Is it possible to sand the plywood enough to get it smooth? We bought the cheapest kind so I am doubting it, but if it is possible I will re-sand with a hand sander if you say it will work.

I also agree the music on the video was a little loud. I think it might not be necessary to play music at all. Thanks for everything you do!

Thank you for the great and informative tutorials. I agree wih previous comments that the musik is drowning your voice out a bit, but I can still hear you.
My palm sander came with a free palm router. I'd love to use it but so far I've only managed to unpack it...I would love a router tutorial some day...

Thanks for your help and inspiration!!!

Thank you all for the great input and watching the first videos! I wish I had been doing video from the beginning, so my videos would have grown with the blog, instead of playing catch-up. But with your advice, I know we can do better and make building more accessible to more people. I really appreciate you taking your time to help me improve and encourage me to keep putting video tutorials out. I'd definitely like to expand beyond simple building techniques into routers and table saws and more as well! We'll probably try to tackle the simplest skills first, and then move up. Thank you again!

Thank you thank you thank you! I have to make a cut on a piece of plywood this weekend to finish my changing table, and I had gotten advice to clamp on a guide board but was still a little concerned. Hopefully the video will help!

Wow!! Those videos were fabulous! I read through all the comments before I watched them and wasn't sure what to expect... but I am super impressed. Those are like professional videos, Ana. You did a great job!

Ana....These video tutorials are amazing . Thanku SO MUCH!!! I really found the jig saw one very helpful... i don't have one and the whole concept kinda scares me, but you made it look "do-able".
One video tutorial i would love to watch is on making and installing drawers on runners. i am going to make an entry locker for kids school stuff and then 6 drawers for our shoes....but i'm a bit scared! So if you do get a chance that would be awesome, but i do also understand how busy you must be...so only if you have some spare time!!! THANKU again Ana.

I would love to see a video of how to make square corners. I have the worst time with this and it has been deterring me from tackling bigger projects. I can't wait to meet you in Salt Lake City next week.

Thank you for this amazing blog.

Video idea- awesome- maybe discuss different types of joining and definitely how to use a router and different edges. Congrats on the book/tour.I am not only very proud of you but so happy your hard work and talent are being showcased to the world!

Yes, I agree with the suggestions for a "square corner" video and a how to use the router video. Square corners are my nemesis....I keep having to shim my projects....its a running joke....my signature is a paint stick glued to the bottom of one of my sides or legs!! ;0)
I also would love to know how to use the router my friend gave me. I haven't touched it because I haven't got a clue what to do with it.
Thanks Ana!!
