A modification of the pie box, using a wood lid (on hinges), that is embedded along the top on all four sides. Took away about 1/4" of interior, but still has room for an average pie. Wife crocheted a doily to fit the interior (not shown). Came out ok, but more importantly, a lot was learned. - Cliff Wolaver
