Build a modern, waterfall framed coffee table using 1x12s and 1x3 boards. This generously sized coffee table features mitered corners, a minimal, modern design, and large bottom shelf for storage. It's a beauty! Cost of lumber was about $150.
UPDATE: After a year if use, this beauty looks brand new and it is one of my most favorite coffee tables I've ever built!

UPDATE: Bed is working great! It's very grand in person, we get lots of compliments on it! Love that the bed is also easy to make.

People love the classic waterfall design, so I wanted to add it to our plan catalog so you can build it too! Save hundreds and build your own waterfall framed console table. This beauty costs about $100 to DIY and is solid pine wood. It’s gorgeous!

It's always nice to have a nearby tabletop surface to set a coffee cup on or a remote. I've been loving the trend of more modern, chunky shapes, especially the extruded X shape. I love the rustic wood tones with the modern shape.
UPDATE: These little side tables are so useful! They are holding up well, the design worked!

Do you love the minimalist design? I hope so, becuase I have been working on a new collectoin of minimalist furniture! This is a NO POCKET HOLES project - yep, that's right, no pocket holes! I put it together with a brad nailer and some screws for the drawer slides.
UPDATE: For a dresser built with a brad nailer, this one has REALLY impressed me. My youngest daughter uses it every day and it is still super pretty! I even went on to build a taller version for my older daughter.

Also part of my minimalist collection is this gorgeous solid wood bed, featuring a sleek, solid wood headboard, wood base cantilevered over chunky wood legs. It is a gorgeous piece that looks like it cost thousands!
UPDATE: This bedroom set is one of my favorites ever! I'm surprised to not see more brag posts, it really is a beauty! And so easy to clean underneath - makes it a great option for short tern rentals! The nightstands are perfect too.
9. Wood Storage Trunk

A wood chest or trunk can provide tons of storage and act as occasional seating or even tabletop surface. This has worked great for a place for wrapping paper and longer items that need to be hidden away!
UPDATE: I LOVE this project! You wouldn't believe how much I can store in there. This one project cleaned up my entire guest room and makes it so easy to wrap a gift now.
10. 2x4 Outdoor Chaise Lounge

This amazing piece can be used as a chaise lounge, or rearrange the pillows to use as an outdoor sofa. Add a center piece to convert to a sectional. Featuring no folding back for easy construction and longer durability, use pillows to create endless options for lounging and seating.
UPDATE: We used these chaise lounges all last summer! I loved the simplicity of them, no moving parts and so versatile. Can't wait to bring them back out and start using them this summer!
