A 30something guy in southern Rhode Island who gave up playing guitar in go-nowhere punk rock bands in order to be a grown up with a good job and healthy lawn. Putting down the guitar meant I needed to find a new creative outlet. My mother is an artist, and my sister is a photographer. I am really enjoying learning how to get better and better at this DIY furniture thing. In the span of 1 year, it has gone from 'I'm not sure I can do this' to buying a really nice planer. I get like this with all of my interests. I think it's even displaced my obsession with old Porsches. Maybe.
