My name is Kristin. I'm an Arny Wife and self taught DIYer. Two years ago when my husband was gone I was bored and decided to tackle my first building project, a blanket chest. I had never used a saw or drill until this day. I was frustrated with the furniture I was finding in stores, either too expensive or not exactly what I was looking for. I took my time on my blanket chest and was pleasantly surprised at the finished product. Since then I have tackled several furniture projects to fill that void where you just need that perfect fit.
