I'm 61, a widow since 2009. I work full time at a university in CA. I grew up with cabinet makers and my husband was a cabinet maker - but none of them wanted me to do any woodworking. Now, when my loss rears it's ugly head, I need a "project" to work through it. I've pulled out some of the equipment and have begun to teach myself - it's scary at times, but oh so much fun!
