Hey Ana!
Thanks for all the awesome plans... just finished the Kitchen Island project... made it a little smaller (50" wide vs. 60") .. made some small adjustments to the drawer faces by adding some decorative trim and quarter round... also havent had a chance to install the bottom shelf yet but its on the way... Let me know what you think...
P.S. just recently found out were expecting our first child =D any chance of getting a crib plan anytime soon =)

Your kitchen island looks fab! Congrats for the baby on the way, too. As for the crib, I believe Ana has avoided those due to liability issues.

Wow, I'm stunned. That looks amazing! I haven't had the gumption to try anything drawered yet...
And congrats on the pregnancy! As Parri said though, Ana isn't going to do a crib design because of all the potential liability issues that arise from there, as I'm sure you can understand.

thanks everyone! i kind of figured that was the reason for not having cribs but it couldnt hurt to ask... :) Does anyone know of anywhere i could purchase a book with crib plans ?

cosleeping is the answer to cribs! we don't have one. :D
otherwise, i think you could just make a box. my grandmother slept in a drawer for the first four months of her life, and it turns out, so did my mother. so, you know, who needs anything fancy? LOL

Hi Nef,
Congratulations on the addition to your family, lots of fun for the future for sure! Your island looks amazing!! I noticed that you mentioned it was still missing a shelf so I am assuming you are just adding finishing touches. Just a suggestion, but had you ever thought of putting a towel bar/handle on the end without the wheels? It could pull double duty by giving your kitchen towels a home and handle to use while moving it around. Either way it looks great!
