I'm sure this is very simple to you, but I'm not sure where/how to find wood to give it the antique look. I would appreciate some help to get me started in the right direction
Before I respond, remember, anything can be built.
That said, this simple bench is actually quite a bit more complicated than it appears. Because the legs are at a double angle (bevel) there is some tricky cuts and the joint is going to require either special tools or lots of patience hand carving it out. It looks to me like logs were peeled and stained for teh legs, and a rough cut log with bark still attached (would be considered a 2 - sided log) was peeled and stained for the top. Can be done for sure. Try doing some googling on "how to build log furniture" there are tools that attach to a drill to create joints in log furniture.
