Kitchen Island

I chose to build a kitchen island with my boyfriend as our first thing to build ever. It was really difficult, more expensive than I originally thought, and it's not exactly perfect, one drawer get's jammed and the planks on the shelves are uneven. I only had a drill, circular saw, and power sander, but for a first I think it turned out well! :D My boyfriend only had minimal experience with circular saw and building stuff. This was definitely an adventure and I am excited about building more things in the future! I think this is cooler than a washer and dryer machines! ^_^ 

We wish we could have used reclaimed wood... Oh well.
