Sharing Sketchup Plans?

Hi Ana! 

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to upload your Sketchup files whenever you share a new piece of furniture on your posts. That way, any modifications we would like to make to your plans could be modeled beforehand, eliminating a lot of guesswork and potential errors! For example, I would love to build your take on the Logan media base unit (http://ana-white.com/2010/01/p.....ttery.html), but I would like it to be 56" long instead of 62" (to fit in my living room), and slightly taller to accommodate my AV components. Modeling it would ensure that I have accurate plans that already work, before buying all the wood.

Ditto to the file-sharing request!  I can share mine if someone requests them but it would be nice to be able to download and tweak your plans, too!

Before I build anything, if I want to make modifications, I usually sketch it out first. Doesn't take that long and it might be easier than trying to modify existing plans.

I've got to agree. Sketchup is a great program I've been playing with off and on for years. It would be a big help to have access to the original files you've created on your plans.

In any case, keep up the excellent work. I'll enjoy reading all your articles whatever you do.

I'd also like to modify the plans. Right now, I have models for standard lumber sizes, and shorten and lengthen, and copy, until I have all the peices, but it'd be much easier to modify the existing. Thanx!

and there are so many, so it might be hard to actually host those files on this site. When I've put plans on here, I try to upload the model to the Google Warehouse first and provide a link in the plans. That way folks can go download them to modify if they so choose. Maybe that would be an option?

I also would love to have the sketch-up plans as our house is such an odd shape and every plan needs to be modified.

How do we get access to sketch up plans, building the tiny house and would like to expand it to 32 ', would be really helpful to start with your plans and then I would be happy to share it back once its designed.
