Ok so I've started by building the simple outdoor sofa useing the kreg jig. It turned out amazing! But now I'm building the loveseat and nothing will go right!
I set the kreg jig for the exact measurements and stock needed but first the screws went right through the pocket hole and out the other end. Never staying in the original piece. Then, for some reason the screws are going right through the second piece of wood even when the screw stays in place.
I can have one or the other but I can't get the screw to stay in the pocket and for it to not go through the second piece of wood, at the same time.
Idk what to do! Please any advice would be MUCH appreciated.

Using a Kreg Jig
First check out the videos on the Kreg site to see if you are doing something you should not. When I first got my jig I went nuts trying to get it right until I watch the how-tos on the Kreg site.
Second, double check your measurements because it sounds like you may be starting the hole too close to the edge of the piece.
Third, Install the screws using short bursts of the drill until you see or feel it tighten up. If there is glue involved it will squeeze out of the joint. No need to go any further. If you have a powerful drill and keep drilling it will either strip the grip in the receiving piece of wood or just motor on through each piece.
