Travertine Paver Side Table
I wanted to make a table with a stone top. I went to a local tile and flooring store and found a 16" by 24" "Antique Parma Travertine Paver." It cost less than $6. I also had some scrap wood from repairing our fence - the wood had a lot of character and I was happy to use it. This can be made with three 8' 2x2 boards - which will also be pretty cheap.
