Add storage and style to traditionally smaller children's rooms by creating a storage bedroom wall. this hutch is designed to work over the store headboard and small hutch. Keep books, toys, games, and other items displayed and put away with this plan. Special thanks to Amy and Steve for sharing their photos.

So I made a small list of hopefully obtainable daily goals. 1) Do 1 load of laundry, and put it away 2) Go for a short walk or jog 3) Fix my hair 4) At least put mascara on 5) Don't be wearing sweats (including cute ones) at 5PM 6) Check the mail 7) Post to my blog 8) Be ahead instead of behind on emails 9) Build, even if it's just for 15 minutes 10) Do something fun with Grace Sounds simple enough, eh? LOL!  This is actually quite a challenge for me.  Between keeping up with the blog, helping my mom out at her restaurant, and babysitting my sister's children full time, and being a mom to Grace, and being an avid DIYer for anything from canning food to sewing . . . well, we can say, at least Ana has big dreams.  :) And while I'mon this never ending quest to simplify life, I am also attempting to finish plan collections when I start them.  So I apologize if you don't have a teen or the need for tons of storage in a child's room.

After today's plan, the only one left in the collection is the side towers.  But those will be coming soon, so stay tuned.

Annie

I'm single never had kids and in my mid 50's and I plan on making this for myself. (I ooohhh'd and ahhhh'd as soon as I saw it posted)

Currently I'm out of work with a truck down for the count. So the build is on hold. Once back on my feet and not dependent on the public bus I will build this.

I have a tiny apartment and lots of stuff, organized storage is my biggest challenge. To save space I sleep on a twin. This system is perfect for me and the top shelf is perfect for (what I call) a lion ledge. (have cats and they too need space, especially up high)

Once done I will send pix!

I agree with Aubergine, skip the mascara. I used to wear make up all the time, but after I moved to south east-- it gets so humid here, I stopped wearing make up all together. I just sweat it off anyway. Now I've decided it's highly over-rated =)

Is it possible to modify this for a full. I know the smaller cubby can be modified and the side cabinets will be fine how they are. Maybe you could do 3 cubbies up top or some combination to avoid sagging?
