DIY Dropcloth "linen" pinboard made from foam and a dropcloth!
Preparation
48" x 48" piece of 1" thick foam insulation
Drop cloth piece at least 5 feet x 5 feet
1/2" staples
Please read through the entire plan and all comments before beginning this project. It is also advisable to review the Getting Started Section. Take all necessary precautions to build safely and smartly. Work on a clean level surface, free of imperfections or debris. Always use straight boards. Check for square after each step. Always predrill holes before attaching with screws. Use glue with finish nails for a stronger hold. Wipe excess glue off bare wood for stained projects, as dried glue will not take stain. Be safe, have fun, and ask for help if you need it. Good luck!
Instructions
It is always recommended to apply a test coat on a hidden area or scrap piece to ensure color evenness and adhesion. Use primer or wood conditioner as needed.

Perfection is overrated.
I'd rather take beautiful, warm, and welcoming over perfection any day. Ana, every detail about your tablescape is gorgeous and inspiring. Thank you SO much for joining us on our little tablescape tour! Merry, merry Christmas to the White family! Here's to a wonderful 2015! xoxo

Effortless
It turned out beautifully Ana! It looks light and rustic. Perfect in my book! I hear what you're saying about the pressure though! Everyone really brought their A-game to the tour!

Great repurposing!
I love this setup. Too often we rely on shopping to spruce up a space, but using what we already have in a new way. The table looks fabulous, and your family we be very blessed to enjoy the holiday there together!

Beautiful!!
I love the simplicity of this table!! I can't wait to build it for my home. I noticed the original plan called for three truss legs but since this has four chairs around it does it have an additional leg to provide spacing for the four chairs? Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
