I really want to make my daughter a simple rocker - with one piece sides. I don't mind making my own plans for things by rockers are tricky in that the balance has to be right. So I'm looking for help.
I found this free plan, but it's not quite my style. And reading over the instructions, it seems more complicated than what I need. (It's designed so that it can be disassembled, but I don't need it to be)
I'd like a rocker version of this chair. I'm not sure how sharp of a curve it should be or where on the curve the seat would line up.
Thanks for any help.

I have the rocker my grandfather made me in 1953, or 54. It doesnt have one piece sides though. It does still have the 'airplane' tape that my dad wrapped around the rockers to keep it from sliding on the floor.
My chair had more parts, ply on the sides and back with top pieces, or frames around them, providing the arm rest. Cant picture how the rockers were done at all, lol.
Ill pull it out and see how he made it. Do a google on rocking horse plans, there was one, that had a chair on rockers similar to what is in the last link you posted.
