Easter at my parent's house has become a little... crowded. We have 8 adults and now soon to be 6 grand kids. The oldest of the grand kids are all going to be able to sit and have a nice meal without adult supervision here soon. So for this upcoming mother's day I would like to build my mother a smaller version of the turned leg table that Patrick Hosey made. I have already made a full size formal turned leg table for my house but need a couple of adaptations and wanted to see what you all thought.
1) I currently have some left over 21.5'' turned legs that I plan on using. I want to be able to remove these legs for easier storage as we are only going to use the table maybe 5 times a year.
2) How long do you all think it would have to be to fit 6 children around it?
3) Should I make it with the ability to put a leaf in it?
Any suggestions would be helpful or if anyone has built one let me know!
Thanks,
Bryan
