My husband's boss is very impressed with our work and has requested a couple of custom cabinets that have doors. The doors will open out into the room and then recess back into the body of the cabinet leaving all of the content open.
The problem is, I have no idea what type of hardware this type of door would require and don't even know where to start researching. Does anyone know what these types of doors are called and what kind of hardware I would need?
Or maybe you could give me a link to some information?
Anything helps! Thanks folks!

Cabinet doors that open out but recess back into cabinet
Hi Katie,
When I read your question, I thought of these "pocket" type door slides from Rockler - like what you'd see on an entertainment center:

Hope this is helpful, happy building! :)

Woah.
That is exactly what I need! But those are seriously expensive pieces of hardware! It would add up to over $100 a door! Hardware is serious business. :)
Well we'll see what the folks have to say about that cost!
Thanks for the help
