I'm looking at it, and I see 4 nightstands with drawers or short cubby towers, placed in a pinwheel so each person has access to one stack, with a really big top added over the 4 bases.

I know they are like the ones ana posted for the corner unit, I was just hoping I would get a little help on the top part and also how to position the cubby?? I was so confused that my head started to hurt when I was trying to figure it out.. I am no carpenter and my husband was kinda lost as well.. So i thought if you guys can give me some imputs on it pls??? sorry! I just started getting the hang of this building things.. I am a quick learner but more of a hand on rather than just reading.. Thanks pls let me know..

Build the 4 separate cubby units ... make sure that the legs and sides are absolutely equal height

Place two cubby units in the middle of the floor just as shown in the picture to start the base.

You will have the front of one on your right and the side of another on the left.

Place the other two, making sure that each side of your base shows one cubby from the front and the other cubby from the side. (There is only 1 way they can be placed to make this happen.)

As for spacing, make sure the pieces are far enough apart for your choice of chairs to fit, and that the sides and fronts of the cubbies are lined up straight.

THEN, measure the distance between the outermost corners and add a couple of inches for an overhang. That is your minimum top size. You can make it out of 3/4 MDF or plywood.
