Hello.
We are looking for a lower loft bed, maybe something height-wise like the Fort Bed, but with stairs like the Playhouse Bed. We have VERY small rooms with ceiling fans and I am worried that a full-height bed could cause problems. I love the Playhouse bed, but we want to put a dresser under the bed and would like to have this bed "grow" with our 4 yr old twin daughters. Thank you for the great site!
BTW, we are planning on making the laundry sorters for their playroom as art supply holders! Thanks to your sisters for putting a bug in your ear about those!

What I've thought of doing is just using the loft bed plans, the bookcase and desk under loft bed plans, and the stairs from the Playhouse bed, and combining them. I think I want the stairs to be a separate piece so they're easier to move (or take away as my daughter gets older), but I'm not sure yet. You can always pick the plan you want and take some length off the legs if you're concerned about the height.
