Truss Shelves

I hope this picture posting works.  I chose these shelves as my first ever project!  Phew!  I think they were a bit harder than I expected, and they're definitely not perfect, but I'm pleased with the outcome.  I still need to put poly on them, but I couldn't wait to post a pic to show them, so here they are without poly yet.Wink

Beautiful!  I love it!

DH is having me make these as nightstands (obviously MUCH smaller!) so we'll see how they turn out.  I told him once the nightstands were done, I'm making the full-size one as well :)

Thank you all so much!!

Ana, you and this site gave me so much confidence to try building.  When I say this was my first project, I mean, it was my FIRST.  I had never even used a saw before.  Except that my dad let me do a couple of practice cuts on his table saw the week before I made this.  I also got a Kreg Jig Jr and learned how to make pocket holes.  I also learned a lot about sanding and staining.  So this was very much a learning experience for me and like I said, I'm pleased with how it came out.  It will live in my dining room to display pretty things and probably a wine rack too.

Thank you so much for this site and this community.

Why can't I see the dimension for these shelves? (or how to build them?) We have decided that we wanted to build these this weekend and realised that everytime we clicked on it, it said access denied? Please HELP!
