Ana or anyone else! Please help me fine tune these plans! I sew, so making the cushions is not a big deal to me. I have not done written instructions because this is the first design I have done...plan on building it in the next couple of weeks. I plan on upholstering the entire thing so the the only wood showing will be the legs/leg braces. If anyone has any ideas to improve upon this please add. I plan on using a kreg jig for assembly.
Please read through the entire plan and all comments before beginning this project. It is also advisable to review the Getting Started Section. Take all necessary precautions to build safely and smartly. Work on a clean level surface, free of imperfections or debris. Always use straight boards. Check for square after each step. Always predrill holes before attaching with screws. Use glue with finish nails for a stronger hold. Wipe excess glue off bare wood for stained projects, as dried glue will not take stain. Be safe, have fun, and ask for help if you need it. Good luck!
It is always recommended to apply a test coat on a hidden area or scrap piece to ensure color evenness and adhesion. Use primer or wood conditioner as needed.

I'd be glad to help...
...but I can't read your notes! Could you upload a higher res of your current plan? Have you used SketchUp at all?

sketchup
I tried to use it one time a couple of years ago to do a kitchen cabinet design at work but got frustrated with it. Let me see what I can do to get a higher res pic loaded!

plans
I can't wait for these plans cause I'm looking to build something similiar. Have you considered using chair parts from Osborne for the front legs?
