I love this table but would need it longer than 80". With so much weight from using bigger lumber would it be too much to lengthen the stretcher and top? 96" is the minimum length needed to fit my family. Thanks in advance to all the knowledgable builders out there

Consider 2 shorter tables
You reach a point where you can't move the table.
Making 2 shorter tables and connecting them with a latching device would work.

Moving table into house
Hello! Does anyone have any experience moving this table through regular house doors? I would like to build this table in my garage and then move it into the house through my standard size front door. Thanks!
