I’m a first year teacher of construction class at Waterloo High School in Illinois. We recently used your Small Cedar shed instructions with some modifications for a class project. It’s a bear getting cedar right now, so we used T1-11 for the outside and 2x4 for the frame.
Elevated loft bed for my two boys! Easy build with the plans from Ana White! I modified this version and elevated it so I could fit my youngest underneath. It was my first time using a Kreg Jig and I’m obsessed now. I would recommend buying top quality wood and increasing all numbers by 2-3 inches to make getting the mattress in easier. I would also recommend a lower profile mattress than I used. Happy Building!

This was a super easy build, that provides a lot of storage!
We were looking at buying this table at Restoration Hardware but couldn't get over the price. I love the look of the table but didn't want to take out a mortgage on it. Once I came across this plan, it was game over. Went out, got the supplies, and had it built before my wife knew what I was doing. It is built like a tank and even my kids can't hurt this! We get so many compliments on it , thanks!

Thanks! We found that wine rack at a store here in Phoenix. I thought about making one from scratch but I definitely was in over my head. We love it though

Do you have an illustration or instructions on the exact modifications you used for this project?
Started with Ana's basic plan/dimensions. Changed the back legs to 1x6, added aa 2nd shelf and storage closet to hang hand tools/gloves.
Rolling bar cart made entirely from recovered pallet wood.
Based on original Ana White's plan, I've just added a side pocket and rails on the lower shelf to prevent sliding of items placed on it.
Later on I made another one for a friend who attached a hanger plate and a magnetic knife holder.
My daughter wanted patio furniture but did not want to spend a ton of money. The total project cost around $400. We used treated 2x4’s for the frame. We found $45 cushion sets, the rug and accessory pillows at Big Lots. I love we used different colors for the chair s and love seat.

Another project for my wife. She loves it and I loved building it. Fairly simple.
I built the original cabin bed for my son when the plans first came out and it has been such a huge hit. After seeing the loft version on RH, I decided to modify the original plans in an effort to give my son more floor play space in his room. The loft bed was his Christmas gift and I've never seen him more excited (he's four). Both he and his brother spend hours a day playing in the bed and underneath. It's hands down the most satisfying project I've built.

This is absolutely stunning!!! I want to build the same one for my kids' rooms! Did I mention I love the colors as well? You did such a great job! Did you have to add anything for additional support since it's lifted higher than the original plan? Anything else I should be aware of or anything you can share if I were to build this bed? Thank you! I'm so sorry for the delayed response. I don't seem to receive notifications of comments on here. No, I did not have to add any additional supports. It is really sturdy. The build itself is very similar to the original, I just adjusted the height of the bed, and changed the dimensions of the upper cabin to leave more space on the bottom for play or another mattress. Darling Cabin Bed All Ready for the Holidays - Credit Unknown
I love these chairs. I have made about 10 of them. I have several orders for 16 more. I use old fence planks for the seat and back. I also changed the back supports to 35 in. My husband is 6ft and he wanted to be able to rest his head back when he sits. Cutting the legs is the hardest part. I also changed the arms to jig holes so the Screws would not show.

We built this bed for my three and a half year old son and gave it to him for Christmas. He and also my almost two year old daughter LOVE it! We did modify the plans a little: we added a handle for getting into the bed from the stairs and also added more slats for support.

My sister put in request for bigger coffee table and 2 end tables, again, the building part was not that difficult, the time consuming portion was staining. But they turned out great!

Man cave chair for my Hubby, made entirely from reclaimed/scrap wood. This took a long weekend to build (includes time to rip down the reclaimed wood, and a couple of tries to get the padded arm rests right).
This build uses the Simple White Outdoor Chair plan, adjusted to fit smaller cushions and use my scrap/reclaimed wood.
The seat cushion is covered with marine vinyl, and the back cushion is covered with fabric from a curtain already on hand. The covers are done in a simple box style. The seat cushion closes with ties at the back, and the back cushion has an envelope back.
The end result is a sturdy, comfortable chair that’s not too heavy, and is decked out with colors from Hubby’s favorite football team. I’m very pleased to say that Hubby likes his new chair!
