I did one of those online tests one time that told me I was a "visionary philosopher", whatever that means. I definitely don't think I'm there yet, but in the meantime I'm just a husband and father of two girls, 6 and 8, who call me "papa". We live in Portland, Oregon, a weird and fantastic place. I created ViaBoxes (aka viatoybox.com) six years ago and have been selling this modular furniture online ever since.
I've been a carpenter since I was a kid and was a general contractor for ten years before ViaBoxes, remodeling houses and restaurants. Since I switched over from building to manufacturing I've learned many more things. And one thing I've learned is how much I love to do both.
So I'm really excited to use your plans to build cool furniture. I'll try to record a video on how I do each project, too. We'll see what happens.
