My Projects
My To-Do List
I love do-it-yourself projects that enhance my family's living space outside and inside--anything from hanging art to building a dining room table. I just finished the Farmhouse table doing a little tweek on the stretcher boards. Instead of notching (which scared a novice builder like me), I mounted the stretcher boards using black cabinet screws. I have to admit I should not have used the very rough lumber from a local mill as the boards were so uneven. But with a lot of sanding and sticking it through, the rustic quality I wanted came through! I was proud that I could actually take on the Kreg pocket hole jig successfully.
