I used to build houses for a living, I learned how to do it from my father who was the builder and while I was young I would go to work with him in the summer. After graduating high school I worked for him full time for a few years. I joined the Navy in early 2002, the economy in Michigan in the building trades were starting to get hit before the big downturn the rest of the country saw, and it was not long after 9/11, I saw the writing on the wall and decided to find a new life in the Navy. I work with computers now however always miss that time of wood working, so I now do it in my spare time just building random things around the house, sometimes I end up selling my projects or doing a custom job for a friend.
