My husband has become very handy in building/fixing things around the house, and being the jealous/competitive wife that I am, figured I'd give it a try myself. We just bought our first house together and need to furnish the ENTIRE thing (inside and out), so I figured we could save some money by building a few pieces ourselves. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE interior design and taking on various DIY projects, and now that my husband has given me a crash course on power tools, and I'm reasonable comfortable that I PROBABLY won't cut my hands off, we'll see what I can do in the wood-working arena.
