I'm not 100% sure about this, but I think Rockler.com might have the hardware for this type of table. I saw others similar to it on there but I would check there first. Should be a fairly easy table to replicate. Hmmm, I just might have to go to sketch up and play around for a bit. :-)

I would also like a lift top coffee table like this. I have seen a project where wooden cantilever hinges are used instead of the $200 hardware available else where. It seemed to work well but I would love actuall plans to go with it.

I want one of these, too! My husband's been bugging me ever since we first bought our circular saw haha.

You can see in one of the pictures how it folds out - that's the part that we find important, and that's what you're talking about too, right? Awesome for storage of all of the every day living room supplies, and classy. I like it!
