My family is expanding, which means more laundry! (I am 39 weeks pregnant now) So I decided to build a big enough hamper for us (two adults, one toddler who constantly dirties his clothes). For finish, I tried to mix two stains "weathered oak" and "dark walnut" and I think it came out really nice! I must admit I love my new hamper!

I liked this design of hamper you made. After looking at your photo and doing some figuring I started working on my own yesterday. So far I like it, although I think mine maybe taller. Again I really like your idea here.
This was an easy build...until I got to the drawers. This was my first time building drawers and they took FOREVER to get right. I did not account for the extra width that the paint would add, so my drawers that once fit did not after I had it painted. Ended up sanding it all down and starting over. Now I know to put the slides on, then paint around them. I added height to the are with the baskets to accommodate their size as well as clear an outlet behind the dresser. The plans do not have the top cover the back panel, so I moved it back slightly to cover the edge. This made the front look too shallow, so I added 1/2 round to the upper edge.
We used the plans to create a basic bedframe. I have used the farmhouse bed plans before and really liked the way this frame went together. It is cheap, easy, and nicer than a metal frame.
My latest project during Covid! Making my yard a little cozier.

Yes! With the prices of wood, i chose the fence boards. I had to tweak a few measurements, but i like how they turned out.
One of the adriondack chairs you have shared...made with wood scraps so it cost nothing only the time to make. It's comfortable and sturdy.....and I loved making it
These outdoor wooden coolers are a real treat to have at any BBQ, tailgating event, or get together! Available for order contact for details on shipping and prices.
I make and sell kids picnic tables on craigslist and a buyer asked about making one of these. I took it on and found the plans on here very easy! I now list these on craigslist also and hope to sell more before the summer is over.
I love this bed and it was really easy to build!
My husband and I built this together as a celebration of our 9th anniversary. We had a lot of fun learning a new skill. Thank you for posting these plans for beginners like us!
A friend asked for a corner sink\stovetop cabinet for his tiny home . Made from sinker cypress.

This is the very first thing I've ever built! I would never have thought it could be so easy! Thanks so much Ana - your my hero!!!
This was my first project and I hit quite a few bumps along the way but I am super happy with how it turned out! I rounded the edges with a sander but otherwise went just followed the instructions exactly.
Modified the plans of the outdoor sofa and sectional piece to create this set, then added cushions from IKEA.

I'm building the sectional this weekend, and saw your addition to the end piece and am going to steal your idea. Very nice.
Loved building these chairs they were really easy and look amazing, couldn't be happier.
I always wanted to try building something and wanted to actually build some cabinets for the dining room to use basically for china and a buffet. I found the plans on here and went to town. I made the smaller cabinet first just to see if i can make it and well it worked fine. So I took the plan and made a second cabinet but made it slightly bigger because I decided to place the cabinets together and put them in our kitchen. It was also an anniversary present for the wife since we cant redo the kitchen and we need some more counter space I made these to fit under a window and replace a set of metal shelves. The doors I just made them no real plan just tried something and it worked. So happy wife, happy wife and I had a good time. As a firefighter/emt this is a nice get away from the stresses of my life and as long as the wife is happy then she will let me continue to work on this stuff. Thanks Ana for the plans I have a few more planned for the future.
Thanks to inspiration from Ana's post on the Sand Box with Built-in seats, I've retrofit our Jungle Fort (http://www.detailedplay.com/Jungle-Fort-Swingset.htm) with the sandbox cover/bench system. I've upgraded the lumber dimensions to 2x4s and 2x6 to accommodate the increased 67.5" span.
I was in the process of making the fancy farmhouse x dining table to spec based on the plans provided. Then I came across a restoration Hardware table that had a similar base but a concrete top and decided to mimic the concrete top with plywood.
Fun easy toddler bed for my son! Love how it turned out! Stained with an American Walnut stain.
Wood bench with x back detail.
