I live in the country and you really need to be able to make "stuff" if you have animals, which I do.
When I got divorced I didn't know how to use a screwdriver. So, I started with a jig saw and built a goat milking stand. I just purchased a compound miter saw and a Dewalt 4 1/2 inch circular saw. I am so excited to build something for my house and not just my chickens. The quality of furniture has really declined in my opinion, so I want to make something sturdy that will last.
