I got inspired by Ana to design my own toy garage - so that there would be somewhere to store all the hot wheels that kept piling up! I have no idea what the angle is for the driveway ramp - it was trial and error with help from my husband, but it's pretty sturdy. Between the mitered cut and the copious amounts of glue, it holds the weight of a 25 lb toddler walking up it (though I try to discourage it!).
I used chalkboard paint and acrylics - so that we can draw parking stalls, lanes, or arrows as desired - my son helped with the painting. So far, the favorite activities are sending the cars down the ramp, one after another...

When I saw Ana's plans I had to make this table for my home. I like the rustic look, and so I distressed the wood using a steel wool and vinegar solution. I modified the top by using four 2x8's and one 2x10. Otherwise everything is the same. It turned out great and everyone who has seen it at my home loves it.

This bed was built using poplar, and pine wood. I used poplar for most of the stained pieces that are visible, and the stain is varathanes Early American. This is the fourth bed I’ve built with Ana’s Farmhouse Storage Bed plans, because it breaks down to four pieces, headboard, footboard and two side boxes, along with the drawers. This makes it easy to assemble on site.

Thanks Ana White for the blue print to an awesome storage sofa. I used the similar dimensions except mine is a bit shorter in width (60 inches wide). Now I just need to find awesome pillows to go with it.

Started on Saturday Afternoon around 5pm and finished building on Sunday, sanding on Monday, stain and poly on Tuesday and we ate Thanksgiving Dinner on it on Thursday. All that is left is the wood putty! Not perfect but VERY happy with it :)

I made this table entirely from oak.  It was somewhat more expensive than other projects I've done but my wife wanted a new coffee table so I thought why not go for it.  I found hard wood to be much easier to work with than other wood.  I like how it turned out.  I used "Mom's  Train Table" plan but added two 22 inch deep draws.  A little extra storage is always a good thing!

I was really excited when I saw this plan. I needed a side table for my guest bedroom and these are perfect. The plans were very easy to follow - the only thing I did differently was I left off the angle braces. The hardest part of the project was waiting on the paint to dry. I've done a few other projects but this my best work so far...I'm getting better and better with each build. So excited to start something else...

My husband made these fabulous tall planters based on your plans and video. We painted them the same color as the trim on our home. We live in Florida so instead of filling the entire planter with potting soil my husband put screening about 1/4 from the top so the plants can drain easily, especially in the rainy season. He made the planters with pressure treated wood which is perfect in south Florida.

Thank you so much for providing us with such a beautiful idea for unique and custom planters. My husband had a great time with this project and the results are just fabulous.

We are remodeling our 3 bedroom house into a 4 bedroom. In doing so, my youngest is getting the smaller room. We decided to go with a Murphy bed to allow more play time space. I do not particularly like the fact that this bed doesn’t sit off the ground but overall love the simplicity of making it. We turned it horizontal and just love the overall product. I can mot wait to make something else from this site!

My dad and I built these beds for my 7-year-old daughter for Christmas. We followed the plans almost completely, with a few tweaks of our own. We didn't feel that the decorative feet would be very stable, so we just continued the length of the bookshelf and desk all the way to the floor. We put a piece of 1/4 in. MDF on top of the slats to help support the memory foam mattress. We also stapled canvas to the underside of the top bunk to hide the slats. I didn't want a headboard or foot board on the lower bunk (toe-stubber!), so instead of building the matching Chelsea bottom bunk, we just made a simple platform bed. We added magnet boards to each side of the desk. I liked the idea of magnets better than bulletin boards. Since this plan didn't include a ladder, we built the ladder from the Loft Bed plan. The bed had some significant wobble to it, so we attached it to the wall. Took ALL of the wobble out and it is very solid and secure now. I'm very pleased with how these beds turned out and my daughter loves them as well!
