I loved this bed from PB but couldn't see spending the $400 that they wanted for this bed that the little one will only be in a shortwhile. This was a fairly simple build with the finishing taking the longest. A little more skill with the jigsaw would have made the curves flow better but all in all it turned out very nice. Looking forward to more fun things to build!

I have limited counter space and needed something for additional storage but was also limited on space. After looking at pre-made kitchen hutchs running from 1,200 to 3,000 dollars and never really finding anything I truly liked. I decided to find some plans to build my own to fit my need and space. I came across Ana's Chick Brooding Cabinet. I really liked the style and it was something that could be easily modified. It has really come in handy!!

I used the barn wood frame plans to make these 33in square pine frames (24 inch by 24 inch interior). I added a 90 degree routered space on the inside lip of the frame so that my acrylic, mat and picture had a nice place to sit on the backside. I also added some left over trim to the inside of the 1x2. With a little hammered silver spray paint with distressed white on top, mats cut with my fabric cutting wheel from Hobby Lobby, and my vacation pics of our kids on engineer prints from Staples, I am really happy with these! (FYI prints are NOT grainy! I have tried this before with a regular camera and it didn't look right. The bigger the jpeg and more megapixels the better)

These benches and table are a fun blend of rustic wood, fresh colors, simple clean lines, and a touch of industrial gabion. They are made from reclaimed pallet wood, a metal storage shelving unit that’s no longer needed, and a material that’s locally abundant – beach pebbles.

I had a customer want one of these, then she decided she wanted matching bookcases to flank it. She let me run wild with the design of the cases, so I made them with the X's and tied it all together with the doors on the console. Finished with General Finishes Java Gel stain and Minwax Polycrylic. You can see my other work on facebook, youtube and Instagram under "Reaperwoodworks". Thanks for looking! 

Finally have a lawn chair that won't blow away in the MatSu Valley wind.

Turned out much larger in person than I thought it would, but built it for our porch. I also remembered the plans in my head differently and ended up with the X on the sides originally intended to be open. Didn't finish staining it yet, but I was too excited to share.

It had come time to renovate our powder room bathroom. We were on a tight budget so we decided to build our own vanity & add a little twist to it! We splurged on the granite countertop, vessel sink  and faucet. Thanks to Ana White we built our vanity for less than $10! Before my new greenhouse was even delivered and built, I was searching for ideas on potting / greenhouse benches. The company wanted nearly as much $$ for the benches as they did for the greenhouse. By accident I came upon Ana's site. I saw the Farmhouse Table plans, then I saw Handy Andy's modification of the plan, and I was inspired to build them myself!
I found a big pallet of 2x pieces of wood at Menards for $25. They usually set out a pallet of odds and ends that are of "like" items. These were about 3.5' long pcs of 2x10's and 2x8's and such (I have enough of these to do the other benches I want to build... and then some!). I also used some 2x4's that came off a really nice sturdy pallet that we picked up for free, and the rest were just boards we had around the shed.
Hubby was willing to help me with this project, but I wanted to do it myself. He did help with the heavy lifting, and I do appreciate that :) Once I had the frame built, we had to move it into place in the greenhouse otherwise we would not have been able to get it in there. And now that it's complete... it's HEFTY!!! And believe me, it's not going to shift about! lol I also put 2x4's across the bottom of the legs so that it wouldn't sink down into the pea stone floor.
The benches basic construction is the Farmhouse Table, but I added a bottom shelf, a little like Handy Andy's. I must say, because this was not a fine piece of furniture, I was not as intimidated or nervous. It was great for my first ever big project :) It took me some time to complete it, over the course of 2 days, but then I also have to cook and clean and work and garden and a hundred other things in a day :) So, I was in no hurry, but it was a very fun project and I'm SO glad I took it on.
I will be building more of these benches to fill up my beautiful new 10x14 Cedar Built Greenhouse.

A birthday present for my best friend. Turned out awesome!

Built this from the Jen Woodhouse plan. 

My husband and I modified this bed quite a bit to make it work for our 4 year old grandson. We made it 60” tall and it holds a crib mattress and spring base. Considering it is for a 4 year old, we did add a brace on the back of the bed, so it could be anchored to wall studs to prevent tipping.
After the painting was completed, we had to head home, so I will share “completed” photos later. By the way, he loves his “Big Boy bed”!

I tried to repeat the Vintage Bar Stool project from ana-white.com, modifying it to my place dimensions. I'm gonna use them on the balcony which has rather high fence, so the table you can see on photo is higher than the average table. So, the stool should be higher too. And than I saw the Vintage Bar Stool project and desided: here ir is!
