It started out as 6 pallets and I wrapped it in plywood but couldn't think of a way to make a back/armrests. Then I stumbled across Ana's plan for the outdoor sectional, and I ended up with a hybrid of sorts!

 Just wanted to take a minute to show off a few of my finished projects. I started doing this about a year ago when I found your site and downloaded the $55 fancy x desk plans. Well I've since put those plans away and am making my own! I use all new lumber from the big box stores and have discovered a few techniques to achieve the finishes on these. Thanks for looking and I'm about to post some more!

This table was made for large gatherings. It will seat 12 and is 9' X 4' I had to add another let in the middle and I couldn't find 4X4 so I paired 2 2'X4's. The friend I made it for is very happy with it, and so am I.

I built the Tryde Media Console with a few modifications. I had to increase the size to of the console to accommodate the 60" T.V. that it would be housing. You will also notice that I added a shelf in the top center of the console so that I could fit more components on the top. I also modified the console plans to create new plans for building two matching bookcases, one for either side of the console, giving it the "built-in" appearance. This turned out beautifully and we couldn't be happier with the plans that we downloaded from Ana-white.com! P.S. - The Kreg jig was a must for this project. All of the boards creating the back of the console are joined using pocket screws, pre-drilled with the kreg jig. After using this inexpensive tool for about ten minutes, I couldn't believe how long I had gone on without it!

I saw the plans for this on Ana White. It looked great so we decided to make one. We had just gotten a cal king mattress. We took the list of materials and cuts we needed to our local Home Depot. They cut all our wood for us. When we got home assembly was easy. Bed put together and paint on in 4 hours. We love it as do our dogs. One of our dogs is getting old so my husband made steps so she could get up on the bed. We love it!!!!

First of all, thank you for the inspiration and foundation for my daughters bed! I knew I had to be a bit creative from the start because the plans were for a twin size and I was building a full. I used your plans for a place to start and ended up putting my own twist in where I could. This is an interactive build complete with the bed, a dry erase board, plenty of cork board, TONS of storage, and a "secret" compartment behind the dry erase board. Oh, and the fully functional desk that my second grade daughter uses to the full extent. Thank you for what you do Ana, without your inspirations this couldn't have happened!

Built the kentwood twin for my daughter from Ana’s free downloadeable plans. Build was very easy and had a blast. Total cost was between $60-$70. Can’t wait to start my next project! 

This was my first project, an introduction to saws and drills, after my pug ate a bag of chocolate that was sitting next to my bed. The plan was picked because it said "simple" and had a drawer to safely store remotes. And chocolate.

This was something my wife needed for the kitchen. I told her to find one that she liked and I would build it. This took about 6 hrs because I was building from a picture and no measurements. I dropped the shelf a little lower so my wife could store her mixer and stuff on it. Needless to say I think it came out pretty nice. We are still going to paint it and put one more coat of stain on the top.

This was my first Ana White project and it turned out beautifully if I do say so myself! 

I made this workbench for my son's 5th birthday. It's a bigger style real workbench for kids. He also received real tools for his birthday. I modeled after a one that PBK used to sell.

Quick and simple little picture frame.

My mom had been wanting a corner cabinet in her dining room forever but every one we found was mad expensive. So I built her one as a gift. She loves it! I used left over paint from her dining room walls so the colors match exactly.

My nephew and his wife are expecting a new baby. This is my e-husband's nephew and we wanted to do something different than I have ever done so the former in-laws wouldn't  recognize the work. I sent them several pictures and this is the one that they choose. I drew up simple plans and put one together. I didn't like the first one so I built this and I absolutely love it. It took me 1 full Saturday, a week of breaks (I come home at breaks from work to work in my garage), an hour each night and a few hours the second Saturday. The hardest part was making the holes for the slats. I used a 1/2" auger bit to make 3 holes and then used a carving tool to make them the right size. It felt like it took forever. Lots of router work but I think this is the best thing I have made thus far. 

This was actually my first build. I had just about had it, went with all three kids, got the wood, and built it while my hubby was at work (24 hr. shifts at the fire station). And yes, that was after I finally Googled, "How to unlock a Dewalt Compound Miter Saw" after 30 minutes of unsuccessful prodding! :-) I'm super happy with how it came out (despite the poor flashy picture)! And it was great "practice" for doing my girl's farmhouse beds.

This was hard for me because I am horrible at using the jigsaw. If I do another one I'll probably not do as many door openings.
It took longer than expected due to filling in all the pocket holes an waiting for the wood filler to dry.
My grandson loves it, he didn't care about my mistakes on it.
