We altered Ana's plans and made a little bit smaller version of it. :)

My wife and I recently built this farmhouse table with her grandpa. It was a lot of fun and we are really happy with how it turned out. The table is 80 inches long, 43 1/2 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. The extensions are 15 inches long and 43/1/2 inches wide, and the bench is 61 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 19 1/2 inches tall. 

It tooks us about 4 weekends (around 32 hours) to finish the project and the included rebuilding the base of the table after our first one cracked. 

We modified the plans a bit. We used 4x4s instead of glued together 2x4s for the legs on the table and bench. 

We also used the plans on this blog (http://tommyandellie.com/?p=2582) as a guide. 

This was the first time my wife and I have tired a DIY project and we had a ton of fun. Her grandpa had some experience with wood working and had all of the tools we needed but you can certainly do this without any extensive wood working experience.

I showed my wife the Laundry Dresser featured on Ana White's website and she asked if I could make one for her, but not quite so tall. I also turned the orientation to fit our laundry room space. I used primarily oak from recycled pallets to build the Laundry Basket Dresser. She wanted a work space on top, so folded laundry, empty baskets, etc. all have a temporary resting place depending on the day. From start to finish, it took me about 6 hours. She plans to stain the piece at some point, but its already in use, so I'm not 100% sure that will ever happen until we move or something. ;-) Great idea and laundry room organization!

One of the adriondack chairs you have shared...made with wood scraps so it cost nothing only the time to make. It's comfortable and sturdy.....and I loved making it

We built this using the Traditional Farm Style Bed plans. We used scrap cypress lumber that was cut and milled from and by family. We had to make some modifications because of differences in the milling sizes but I was so happy with the final outcome.

I changed the height of this king size bed and upgraded the boards underneath to 2X3 since I'm a big ole boy and I wanted this to last for years. - Don White

We used the plan about using one sheet of plywood to make a closet organizer (http://www.ana-white.com/2013/03/plans/closet-organizer-one-sheet-plywo…) to make several shelves for our master closet.

We added a seating area with hidden storage, using an upcycled crib mattress for the seat (instead of buying new materials to make a seat cushion). 

We added multiple wood dowels for the rods across. There is wood across the top of the whole closet system so we can store things up above. 

This project added a lot of extra storage for us and we're so happy with how it came out. The shelves were pretty reasonable to build.

The bench measures 54" wide x 21" deep.  We slightly modified the Rogue Engineer plans at the customers request to allow it to sit flush against the wall. 

This is the cooler stand presented by Jenny from Birdsandsaoap. Very easy to build and always ends up with someone asking to buy it or have you make them one.

My wife, grandchildren, and I have spent the last 8 months building 2 bunk beds from the site.  First we build this cabin version for my grandsons and then we built the sweet pea version for my granddaughters. I thank Ana White for using this website to enable amateur wood workers like myself a tool that enabled us to create a great piece of furniture that they use every day and collect childhood memories and know how much they are loved.  Thank you Ana White.

I was really excited when I saw this plan. I needed a side table for my guest bedroom and these are perfect. The plans were very easy to follow - the only thing I did differently was I left off the angle braces. The hardest part of the project was waiting on the paint to dry. I've done a few other projects but this my best work so far...I'm getting better and better with each build. So excited to start something else...
