Started with the 3 plank plans from Anna's project, then dremeled the logo.
Well, I had just bought a house. We had no furniture for our sunroom, so I took it upon myself to build some while materials were still cheap.
Hindsight, the chairs rear end should have been a level seat instead of trying to build an Adirondack style club chair. I modified the ends to match the modern style so they would match the chairs.
The sofa turned out great, all are solid and built with pocket screws. Sealed with redwood deck sealer, should last forever!
For the covers, we had them made from covers and all, and went to the local Joann and bought 4" thick foam.and wrapped it with with polyfill. Can't tell that they were made in a backyard, but they've been great for 18 months so far!

I've made 2 of the Modern adirondack chairs. Really enjoyed the plans and the video for help as I'm new to woodworking. I look for new plans all the time to see what I might build next
I made these last summer for my sister. And she didn't even use them yet! Very easy to make. She did want them taller, so that is the only modifacation I made. We're hoping the bunnies won't notice all the yummy veggies up this high :) I know, probably wishful thinking. Makes a great kid corral too.
Slightly more elegant version of an outdoor cedar patio table. This is made from 100% cedar and joined using Kreg pocket hole screws. The finish is 2 coats of Sikkens Cetol MRD that has been hand rubbed on using a cloth, with 24 hours of dry time between coats.

I really like the way you modified this design and I would like to duplicate it. I am curious about how you changed to framework to accommodate table top with the boards running lengthwise. The original design has the framework running lengthwise, so I am assuming you added framing that runs perpendicular. Is there any way you could include pictures and measurements of the framework under the tabletop? Thanks. Great work!

Used your idea of a grazing board or charcuterie Board to build one for my daughter for Christmas. I have made some cutting boards for her in the past but now she has a charcuterie board for the specific purpose.
We decided to go big or go home. We made the console almost 8 ft long out of all Rustic Alder. Took almost a month with a few hours here and there in the garage. But everyone loves it and we can't wait for it to find a new home!
I needed a new desk and found some plans on Ana's website.Made a little modification to it for a little more work space. Turned out great I thought. Had never used pocket holes before, I think I'm hooked now.
We picked up a couple 14.9" square plastic garden planters from Home Depot and ended up creating some wood planter boxes from pallet wood for them to sit in.
I didn't add up the cost of these boxes, because we had most of the wood and only needed a few pieces, but I'd say they were definitely less than $10 a box.
We altered our dimensions to fit our HD planters so they would slip in for a snug fit and made the legs flush with the top of our sides. We build a simple frame for the top, which allowed the lip of our HD planters to sit firmly on top.
Something I didn't do, but wish I did: fill in the cracks with wood filler. There were a couple places that really could have used it, but I was in a rush and decided to skip it. They turned out great, but could have been even better had I taken an extra 30 minutes. On an off weekend, we are going to use wood filler in the seams, sand them down, and do a second coat of white paint.
Can't wait to plant these with some mums for Fall! :)
I love this table and bench set! Very easy to build and didn't take too much time. We made it a family build. My kids helped put together the benches and table. My wife and kids did all the staining.
I saw Ana's plans for a toolbox and thought that's great! Then I saw another members adaption for a cleaning caddy and I knew I had to build both!
I build on my lanai (porch) in Hawaii, so my work area is fairly small. It was easy to build these at the same time, and I made plenty use of my Kreg jig!

Your work space may be small, but I think I'd take your view any day! Just beautiful. And, the tool box and caddy are really nice, too!
I built this bed as a modified farmhouse bed. I chose to have a solid wood headboard instead of having a slotted look as it fit better in the decor of our home. I purchased a bed rail kit from Rockler so that I could remove the rails without removing any screws. I decided to build my potting bench out of all cedar. I added some extra reinforcements, especially under the table top and shelf, since cedar isn't the strongest wood around. But I love the look!
I made one set for my son, the one with the stained top. His friends liked it so much and kept borrowing his set, that he wanted to surprise them with their own and asked me to build them one with the LSU colors. Thought they turned out great! Thank you for the plans!

easy to follow steps. Good weekend project for a beginner. I just got tools for Christmas and I tackled this without prior building experience. Excited for more projects
We modified the farmhouse table and bench to make a table for our daughters apartment. We made the table 54” long which turned out to be the perfect size for the apartments dining room space. You may also notice we built a dog bowl table to match the farmhouse table style. Love the design!
