I added a cabinet door and put some extra trim on to fancy it up a bit. I also used my router and an ogee bit on the top. The top and plywood sides are aspen and the rest is poplar. They were finished using General Finishes Georgian Cherry gel stain.

Inspired by Finn's Dad's table, we decided to copy it since we wanted to build a table that would seat 8 comfortably. The most difficult part of this project was finding clear cedar for the top. It had to be ordered through our local lumber yard and we were not able to match boards. We built the frame out of treated pine and the 4 x 4 legs from average greade cedar found at Lowe's. We finished it with four coats of polyurethane. 

This was a birthday gift for a 1 year old. Yes it's painted like the tractor.

This project allows your creativity to flow.  It's a woodworking and art DIY project.  These storage benches for children are inspired by my youth when I played with wooden alphabet blocks.  It's the perfect accompaniment for this Alphabet Blocks Inspired Chalkboard Play Table.

I did not build this from any plans. Just had someone tell me what size of entertainment center they wanted. 

I did a shortened version of the Farm Table, I only had room for a six foot table. I wanted to give it an old-looking feel, so I beat it up a bit and stained it with an ebony stain, then a jacobean. I plan to paint the legs black.

We built this bunk bed for our daughters (age 3 and 4) and they LOVE it!  We are so happy with it.

Took us about a week but have two young toddlers... love the table. Awaiting Chairs from wayfair and my husband is starting the bench this week!

My husband and I made this for our daughter's 6th birthday. She loves it! It took us about a week to complete it. We were able to reclaim the room we had her toys in, since this gave her more room to play in her bedroom. We used wood shims for the shingles, and we made the windows a little narrower than the plans.

This was my first project for my new house. I think it turned out well. I added a middle shelf. I built two for our bedroom, one for both my wife and I.

Modified to fit sectional couch so this build was considerably smaller. My dad loves it!

First project I have done since high school. I built and my wife painted.

Fun project, took little time and we love not having to bend OR spend 279 per pedestal!!!  Very strong and my machine stays put, doesn't dance around. Love!!!

Used the pub table plans, but went regular dining table height so as to make matching dining chairs. Painted in Rustoleum Latex Ultra White, and Stained in Minwax Espresso. Built using Douglas Fir lumber. Table top and chair seats are 2x4's and 2x6's that were biscuit joined. Table has adjustable leg levelers drilled into bottom of legs.
