First Solo Project- Farm Bench
My 6 and 8 year old boys helped me build this bench because I couldn't stomach paying $200 for one with 3 little boys. It cost about $40 and it was so easy to do. We are all so proud of the end result.

Factory Cart Table
Thank you Ana! I requested my dads name this year for Christmas. Why? He has everything! With the help of my husband & son, we took wood out of my dads old farm house that is about to fall down. The house was built over 150 years ago, and to my suprise the wood walls were beautiful tounge & grove pine. I built the base out of big box pine & stained. The old pine I sanded lightly & scrubed down with murphys oil soap. The only finish was the Austrailian oil sealer in natural. Table left my dad speachless & with a tear in his eye. You made Christmas great Ana - Thanks

What a sweet and thoughtful
What a sweet and thoughtful gift! I love this table and the plan. Wish I had a place in my home to use one.
Jelly Cabinet / Pie Safe
My mom as always wanted a jelly cabinet and there's one for sale at a local antique barn so when I saw the plans I knew exactly what I could get her for Christmas. The plan measurement's were a little off so I ran it through Google sketch-up to get the exact cuts I'd need and to play around a little with the plans. I used chicken wire for the doors and they came out better than expected. For a finishing touch, my mom loves black bears and moose, so I decided to include them in the final design. I went with free drawing them on contact paper and cutting them out and using them as a stencil, I love how they look. Overall it was a fun project. I just need to distress it a little and seal it with poly and it should be better well done.

Camp Loft Bed Modified & Modern Kids Bookcase
This build was super fun and easy. I modified it slightly with a bottom bunk and outdoor grade slide for my two grandsons. The room is only 10x10 so it pretty much takes up all the space, but I left a good amount of space under the bed (11”) for storage or for the dog to hide.
I attached hinges to the stairs for easy access to underneath, maybe for a hidden fort or more storage. To gain extra support for the beds, I added angle irons to the top bunk legs and 11" 2x4s to the bottom bunks legs for the cross bars to sit on. Both my husband and I tested, and they're not going anywhere, pretty solid.
Thanks Ana & Jared for sharing your talents with the rest of us!! I wish I had room in my home to make every single one of your projects!
🥰,
Alexis

Easiest Uphostered Bench - with a Skirt
We took the idea from this brag post, and changed the dimensions to fit the space in front of our window. We actually built 2 bases to ensure it would be sturdy. We love how it turned out! Check out our blog post for more details.

Easiest Upholstered Bench with Skirt
Hi Molly. I can't find the plans for this project. Can you please help me. I absolutely love it!!!
Nightstand
Nightstands are expensive. I don't have money. So, I thought I would build one. I kept this one rustic looking by not filling the holes but I did sand quite a bit. Just not enough to remove the printing on the boards, I think it looks good when it's got finish on it.

Best looking frame I've seen in a long time!
I wanted to make one just like yours but do the tafting all the way to the edge of the headboard. I'm wondering though, how much fabric did you use? Thanks!

East Fork Factory Cart
Okay, I didn't use the Factory Cart Coffee Table plan for my version, but since mine was inspired by the same piece as the Factory Cart Coffee Table, I decided to brag.
As is the case with all my projects, I used 100% "rescued" materials (salvage, leftovers from someone else's project, garage sales, dumpsters, curbside, etc). Wood, hardware, wheel and castors, glass, glue, finishes- all of it.
I painted the Simpson galvanized hangers on the corners with Rustoleum (color: oil rubbed bronze) over an automobile adhesion primer coat

Really nice. I actually like the way you painted the Simpson galvanized hangers black. I would like to know the same as Pam the Goatherd. Where did you get the big wheel?

Wheel
Got the wheel from a guy about 5 miles from here with a few acres packed full of all kinds of stuff. It's basically a junk yard for everything besides cars. Lots of super cool industrial-type stuff. Pretty tragic, really, since most of the stuff sits exposed to the elements year round. Anyway, I make sure my Tetanus shot is up-to-date, throw a few tools in my jacket, and go digging. I've scored a few times there. If you're near Battle Ground, WA let me know and I'll give you directions and the name of the dog that guards the joint in case you happen upon him.

Wheel
Luky!Only other place i would have to go home to the Bronx and find this item in one of the junk stores.
Thank you for the kind offer, unfortunately I'm in Maryland. Only good thing comes out of this is the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival the weekend of mothers day in May.
cabin table
We ended up going with 4 2x12's for the table top and used 2x6's for the bread boards.
Wall Mounted Hutch
I wanted a china hutch in my dining room, but did not have the space. Instead, I built a wall-mounted hutch, which provided room for the dining room chairs to slide back from the table. I altered the plans to make the hutch less deep and added a trim piece along the bottom. My favorite part about this hutch is decorating it for every holiday and season. Thank you Ana White!
